TiN

As a first generation PVD coating, TiN is an all-round coating suitable for cutting and forming iron-based materials. TiN is also used in the injection moulding of plastics and in the die casting of zinc.

TiN is still often preferred for slow-running and/or unstable machine conditions in drilling and milling operations. Its hardness and outstanding toughness make our TiN an ideal coating to withstand vibrations without cracking or flaking.
